Riverside Health Center
Riverside Health Center (Riverside) is a public facility managed by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Riverside offers a wide range of services including training courses run by the NYC Health Academy, free maternal and childhood health programs run by the Nurse Family Partnership, health and preventive services provided to public school students by the Office of School Health, and STD clinic, and access to primary care. We created a comprehensive environmental graphics program for their newly renovated and expansion of the Center. We also developed signage and graphics that encourage physical activity within the building. The project is part of the NYC Department of Design and Construction Design Excellence Program.
The highlight of the facade design was designed by artist Richard Artschwager, in collaboration with the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs’ Percent for Art Program.
