Working closely with a core internal team, we designed and built the website of Viñoly, the internationally renowned architectural firm.

The projected included a refresh of the brand identity and all printed materials. Our strategy was to position Viñoly as a leader in the field and an authority on their numerous expertise.

The early stages of the process involved delving deep into the philosophy of the architecture firm to identify core values and goals. After developing a detailed sitemap, we determined that the site could be best organized into two main sections: Work and Practice. We led content strategy sessions and helped develop an expertise section to showcase the areas Viñoly specializes in.

One of the challenges of this project was developing a navigation system that incorporates the many levels of complex and extensive content. We designed a series of navigation bars that help guide the user through the interface. In the Works section, the navigation organizes types of projects. Each of the firm’s numerous projects has rich content in various mediums, including photography, sketches, and videos.

Another unique feature of this website is the incorporation of multi-lingual content. The site has been translated and can be viewed in English, Spanish, Chinese, and will soon be launching in Arabic. Our work included developing the CMS and designing the pages to adapt to the different language requirements and typefaces.

The robust content management system we developed enables Viñoly to maintain, update, and edit the website.
